# Pulse Token (XPL)

XPL is the native and utility token of Pulse Metaverse. The main purpose of the XPL is to allow users to govern and earn rewards the growth of the metaverse. 

Pulse Token (XPL) is based on the **BNB** **Chain**. The BSC-20 smart contract allows BNB Chain to facilitate transactions of the Pulse World. BSC-20 is a uniformity of tech and protocol standards for everyone to use. Hence it is widely acceptable and extremely reliable.

Initial XPL total supply: 12,000,000,000 units.

After burning XPL total supply: 480,000,000 units.
