## Welcome to the Games Module

{% hint style="info" %}
Important: Please review the [Gaming Feature Terms](/legal/gaming-feature-terms.md) before accessing the Games module.
{% endhint %}

The Games module is a new part of PulseWorld where you play casual games to unlock rewards. The more you play, the more XPL you can unlock. Everything happens in one place. You move XPL into Game Coins to play, you build up Coins and XP as you go, and you turn what you collect back into XPL.

There are two ways to get XPL back into your balance. Game Coins convert back to XPL, and the XP you build up while playing can be redeemed for XPL rewards on the Rewards tab inside the games portal.

The two balances you'll see

* **XPL**: your main PulseWorld balance, shown at the top of the module.
* **Game Coins**: what you spend and collect inside the games. You create these by converting XPL.

You will also build XP as you play. XP is not a spendable balance. It is the experience that fills your level bar and unlocks the reward slabs you redeem for XPL.

This guide covers what you'll find in the module: your two balances, the convert buttons, the Play Games button, the Rewards tab where you redeem XP for XPL, and your Transaction History.

## Your Games Dashboard

When the module is active, the dashboard is your home screen. From here you can see both balances and take every action in a tap.

**What's on screen**

* Your XPL balance and your Game Coins balance, side by side at the top.
* **Convert XPL to Game Coins**: turn XPL into coins so you can play.
* **Convert Game Coins to XPL**: turn coins back into XPL in your balance.
* **Play Games**: jump straight into the games portal, where you also redeem XP for XPL on the Rewards tab.
* **Transaction History:** a full record of everything you've done in the module.

Any XPL you redeem from the Rewards tab is credited back to your XPL balance here on the dashboard.

## Converting XPL into Game Coins

To play, you fund your Game Coins balance with XPL. This is the most common action in the module.

**How it works**

* Tap Convert XPL to Game Coins and enter how much XPL you'd like to convert. Shortcuts let you pick 25%, 50%, 75%, 100% or Max of your available XPL.
* You'll see the current conversion rate and how many coins you'll receive. The rate refreshes regularly, so the figure you see is current when you confirm.
* Tap Confirm. Your XPL is deducted and the matching Game Coins are added to your balance. Balances usually update straight away, though they can occasionally take a little longer to sync.

**The current rate**

Right now, 1 XPL = 1 Game Coin. This rate may change, and the figure shown at confirmation is the one that applies. Your balance is deducted here and becomes available inside the PulseWorld games platform.

**Good to know**

* Coins are whole numbers, so the amount you receive is rounded down to a whole coin. If your amount would convert to less than one full coin, you'll be asked to enter a little more.
* In normal use, your XPL is only deducted once the matching coins are added. If a conversion does not complete, it is designed not to leave you short, and any amount affected by a synchronisation delay or technical issue is reconciled once it clears.
* Balances can take a short time to update. The timing and availability of these features are covered in the [Gaming Feature Terms](https://info.pulseworld.com/legal/gaming-feature-terms).
* This conversion shows in your Transaction History as a CONVERT entry, with a remark noting how much XPL became and how many coins.

## Converting Game Coins back into XPL

Done playing, or want to move amounts back into your XPL balance? Converting Game Coins to XPL does the reverse. It turns your coins back into XPL.

**How it works**

* Tap Convert Game Coins to XPL.
* Enter how many coins you'd like to convert. You'll see the rate and the XPL you'll receive.
* Tap Confirm. Your coins are deducted and the XPL is added to your balance, usually straight away.

Like every action in the module, this appears in your Transaction History, so you always have a clear record.

## Playing Games

Tap Play Games to enter the PulseWorld games portal. Your player profile is set up and linked automatically, so there is no separate sign-up. Your Coins and XP travel with you and are kept in step with the module, allowing for the occasional short sync delay.

**What you'll find inside, along the top**

* **Clashes**: player-vs-player challenges.
* **Quest Games**: games with quests to complete.
* **Rewards**: the tab where you redeem your XP for XPL.

**What you build as you play**

* **Game Coins**: the currency you spend and collect while playing.
* **XP**: experience you build up as you play. XP fills your level bar (for example, XP 61 / 100 at Level 1) and unlocks the reward slabs on the Rewards tab.

You build XP and Coins by doing the things you'd do anyway: completing quests, taking part in clashes, joining tournaments, and being active in the community.

## Redeeming XP for XPL

Redeeming is how your progress adds up. As you build XP, you unlock reward slabs, and each slab you are eligible for can be redeemed for XPL. Redemption is done inside the games portal, on the Rewards tab at the top. The XPL you redeem is credited to your XPL balance on the dashboard, usually straight away.

#### The reward ladder

Here is what each slab needs and the XPL you receive. These values are current and may change. The further you climb, the bigger the reward.

<table data-search="false"><thead><tr><th>XP Level</th><th>XP Required</th><th>XPL Reward</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>1</td><td>100</td><td>5 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>3</td><td>300</td><td>15 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>5</td><td>500</td><td>40 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>10</td><td>1,000</td><td>100 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>15</td><td>1,500</td><td>175 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>20</td><td>2,000</td><td>300 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>30</td><td>3,000</td><td>600 XPL</td></tr><tr><td>50</td><td>5,000</td><td>1,500 XPL</td></tr></tbody></table>

**How to redeem**

* Tap Play Games to open the games portal, then open the Rewards tab at the top.
* You'll see a card for each XP level slab, each showing XP to XPL, the XPL you'll receive, and the XP required to unlock it.
* Every slab shows as Eligible or Ineligible based on your current XP. Once you have enough XP for a slab, it becomes eligible and you can redeem it.
* Redeem the slab and the XPL reward is credited to your XPL balance on the dashboard. Switch to My Redemptions to see everything you've already claimed.

**The golden rules of redemption**

* Each slab can only be redeemed once, ever, per player.
* Once a slab is redeemed it stays marked as redeemed and cannot be claimed again.
* Each redemption appears in your Transaction History as a Claim entry.

## Your Transaction History

Everything you do in the module is recorded in Transaction History, so you always have a clear, complete record. You can filter it, set a date range, and download it.

#### **Filters and tools**

* **Tabs**: All, Unlock, Claim, and Withdraw to focus on one kind of activity.
* Status filter, plus From Date and To Date to narrow by time, and Reset to clear it.
* **Download**: export your history.

#### **What each column means**

<table data-search="false"><thead><tr><th>Column</th><th>What it shows</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>ID</td><td>The entry's reference number.</td></tr><tr><td>Wallet</td><td>The balance involved (for example, XPL).</td></tr><tr><td>Amount</td><td>The amount for the transaction.</td></tr><tr><td>Fee</td><td>Any fee applied (shown as a dash when there is none).</td></tr><tr><td>Net Amount</td><td>The amount after any fee.</td></tr><tr><td>Type</td><td>The kind of transaction (see below).</td></tr><tr><td>Transaction Hash</td><td>The on-chain reference, where one applies.</td></tr><tr><td>Status</td><td>Where the transaction stands.</td></tr><tr><td>Date</td><td>When it happened.</td></tr><tr><td>Remarks</td><td>Extra detail, such as how much XPL converted to how many coins.</td></tr></tbody></table>

#### Transaction types you'll see

#### Quick Help

| Situation                      | What to check                                                                                                                                                                                               |
| ------------------------------ | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| My XPL didn't convert to coins | If it would round down below one coin, enter a bit more. If a conversion does not go through, check your Transaction History. Amounts affected by a delay or technical issue are reconciled once it clears. |
| I can't see a reward to redeem | The slab may show as Ineligible because you don't have enough XP yet, or you may have already redeemed it. Check My Redemptions on the Rewards tab. |
| A transaction shows Pending | It has been received and is still processing. It will update to Success once it completes. |
| I want a record of my activity | Use the filters and date range in Transaction History, then tap Download. |
